The Worship Team - Providing Christ-Centered Worship Services

The Worship Team coordinates the involvement of congregation members in all regular and special worship services and seeks to meet the wide range of individual needs. Our goals are as follows:

• To enhance & enrich worship experience

• To continue a functional and effective worship planning team extending beyond worship team members

• To continue periodic planning and evaluation sessions including pastors, team members and music staff

• To continue to explore and evaluate additional worship opportunities and resources

• To continue efforts to increase knowledge and understanding of Lutheran beliefs and worship practices

• To include and involve more people in worship participation

• To critique worship services on a continuing basis

• To review & revise guidelines for worship team areas of responsibility

• To effectively communicate with the congregation and to encourage their feedback regarding worship

• To assist and support the pastoral staff in the design and implementation of worship

At the present time we offer Traditional Worship, Contemporary Worship and Praise Band on Sunday mornings and Holden Evening Prayer Service on Saturday evenings.

Following are the areas under the umbrella of the worship committee: Musicians, Lectors, Greeters, Ushers, Acolytes, Altar Guild, Audio/Visual, Banners/Flags, Communion Servers, Candles, Flowers.
