WORSHIP AND FAITH AT GRACE

Worshiping God is the central event in the life of Grace Lutheran Church.  Weekly at Grace people gather around God's Word revealed in Scripture.

 Worship At Grace

Holden Service:

6pm Saturday Night Worship is held weekly in the chapel year round.  Holden Evening Prayer, a beautiful reflective order of service is used, (except during Lent) to lead the praise God in song. Saturday's worship doesn't contain the same music as Sunday services but some of the readings and the message are shared at all 3 services.

Traditional Worship:
8:30 Sunday Traditional Worship is held weekly (September through May and the 1st and 4th week of each Summer month at 9:30) in the Worship Center at Grace.  This service is built on the great Christian and specifically Lutheran liturgical and musical heritage of Grace.  The Chancel Choir, organ, and special music help lead worshipers.  There's no mistaking that this is time spent in the presence of our loving and majestic Lord.

Contemporary Worship:
10:45 Contemporary Worship is held weekly (September through May and the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each Summer month at 9:30) in the Worship Center.  Christ's presence is celebrated in this worship service. .  The Newsong musicians blend traditional music and contemporary songs to praise and honor God leading this service most weeks using a variety of instruments and voices.  The high-energy, electrically-charged Praise Band leads mostly on the 3rd Sundays of the month.

Summer Worship:
9:30 Summer Sunday worship.  Beginning Memorial Day Weekend and finishing on Labor Day Weekend Grace has only one Sunday worship service.  The style of each worship service will be listed in advance.

Wednesday Advent and Lenten Worship:
12 noon and 6:30 pm Wednesday Advent and Lenten worship are celebrated at Grace.  In keeping with church tradition time is set aside in the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas and the 7 weeks leading up to Easter to celebrate what God is doing in people's lives.

Holy Communion:
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month at all weekend services at Grace.  Baptisms are celebrated as part of worship at Grace.  If you are interested in learning more about baptism please contact the church to find a time to visit with one of the pastors.
